Terms of Use
By using the Fubby app and the fubby.social website, you accept the terms below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
1. Account and age limit
- Fubby is only for users aged 18 and over.
- You are responsible for keeping the information you provide accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and for the actions taken through it.
- One person may open only one account; accounts may not be opened on behalf of someone else.
2. Community guidelines
The following are strictly prohibited and result in account termination:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination and insults,
- Sharing sexually explicit or disturbing images/text,
- Using someone else's photo or identity,
- Advertising, spam, attempted fraud or requests for money,
- Sharing unsolicited links that lead outside the app,
- Sharing misleading trail or campsite information,
- Any illegal activity.
3. Respect for nature
Fubby is an outdoor community. We expect you to follow the leave no trace principle in the areas you visit and share: pack out your trash, fully extinguish your fire, and do not harm wildlife or protected areas.
It is your responsibility to comply with the rules and bans of the relevant official authorities (forestry administration, national park directorates, local governments) regarding camping and campfires. The fact that an area has been shared in the app does not mean camping there is legal.
4. Your content
You own the rights to the photos, text and other content you share. So that we can display this content in the app, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it. This licence ends when you delete your content.
5. Payments and in-app purchases
- Downloading the app and using the core features is free.
- Some extra features are offered as in-app purchases. Purchases are made through the App Store and Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. Cancellation is done in the account settings of the relevant store.
- Refund requests are subject to the refund policy of the store where the purchase was made.
- Purchased virtual items (e.g. in-app credits) cannot be converted into cash.
6. Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or close, without prior notice, accounts that violate these terms or the community guidelines. If you believe your account was closed unfairly, you can write to info@fubby.social.
7. Service availability
We provide the service "as is". Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or technical reasons; we reserve the right to change or discontinue features.
8. Limitation of liability
Trail, campsite and road information in the app is shared by users; its accuracy, currency and safety are not guaranteed by Fubby. Any activity you undertake outdoors is at your own risk — verify the weather, your gear and road conditions yourself before setting off.
Fubby is not responsible for communication and interactions between users. We strongly remind you to be careful when communicating with people you do not know, and not to share your personal information, address or financial details. Under no circumstances can we be held liable for indirect damages.
9. Closing your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. The current version is always published on this page; significant changes are announced in the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey have jurisdiction over disputes.
